January 3, 2006, association
President Cliff Mitchell (Johnston CC) and Internal Vice President
Barbara Morrison (Bladen CC) visited with faculty at Roanoke-Chowan
Community College in Ahoskie, NC. Topics of discussion included
membership and participation in local campus and state faculty
associations, NCCCFA goals and activities planned for 2006, and voter
support for the association’s statewide campaign for salaries
to
87% of the national average in 2006. Our gratitude goes to SCC
President Ralph Soney and Dean of Academic Affairs Linda Alexander
for the opportunity to meet with Roanoke-Chowan CC faculty.
