Have you been thinking about a project that could enhance the learning opportunities for your students or promote your program in your region or in some other way benefit the community college system? If what is holding you back is lack of funding, we have good news for you!
Each year the NCCCFA provides up to $3000 in faculty grants for projects that will help accomplish the NCCCFA mission: To promote excellence throughout the North Carolina Community College System.
$1000 is provided for each of the three regions of the state. The grant funds may be given in to one person, or may be divided between / among two or more faculty members who need smaller amounts. The guidelines for what projects qualify are intentionally vague. That is simply because great ideas seldom fit into preconceived guidelines. If you have an idea and are interested in applying for a Faculty Grant, the information you need is below. If you have a colleague who might be interested, please forward this message to that individual.
Who may apply? Only active members of the NCCCFA may apply. If you have not joined or if your membership has lapsed, you may join or renew by clicking here: Join NCCCFA.
How do I apply? Send the following information (along with your name, college, and teaching area) to the NCCCFA Vice President of Internal Affairs at vpinternal@ncccfa.org :

• Cost estimate
• Anticipated timeline for the project
• Names of others (if any) who will be working on the project
