In the waning days of this year's N.C. General Assembly session, students and faculty from Wake Technical Community College's Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs presented a curriculum demonstration that included free oral cancer and blood pressure checks.

Student Scholarship Awards for 2007-2008

The NCCCFA is pleased to announce its annual scholarship of $1,000 to each of three students across the state of North Carolina. There will be an award of $1,000 (in two $500 payments) in each of three regions: East, Central, and West.

Please note that the applicants must be nominated by a member of the NCCCFA. Your school may nominate three students. If more than three applications from one college are received by the NCCCFA Scholarship Committee Chair, only the first three received will be considered. Your local NCCCFA members should meet and decide as a group whom to nominate from your school.

Scholarship Deadline: April 30, 2007

Application forms and criteria for awarding the scholarships may be downloaded by clicking the link above.

Electronic copies of the completed Scholarship Applications, the nominees' supporting essays, and faculty nomination letters may be sent by e-mail attachment to babudd@waketech.edu. Paper copies of the completed Scholarship Applications, nominees' supporting essays, and faculty nomination statements should be sent by US Mail to:
